Earl Pearson Jr. is considered one of the top dirt late model drivers in the country today. His resume is full of numerous accomplishments including several go-karting championships at an early age and track championships in open wheel modifieds in 1990 and ’91 in his second and third year of competing in stock car racing. 1993 Earl won an amazing 11 out of 22 feature events in his first year in dirt late model racing in North FL and South GA. Because of his tremendous success early on, Earl was hired by several dirt late model team owners in the mid 1990’s winning numerous feature events. In 1996 Earl won his first “National” Touring Series event when he won the Hav-A-Tampa sanctioned event at Waycross GA. Earl would then compete his first full year on the national tour and won the 1997 Hav-A-Tampa “Rookie of the Year” award while finishing a respectable 10th in the final series points standings.

With numerous wins and a serious contender every time the team unloaded it was 2004 that the country took notice of Earl’s talents. Earl racked up 11 wins and an amazing top 5 finishing percentage of 74% that enabled Earl to win his first National Championship the 2004 Stacker2 Xtreme DirtCar Series Championship.

Earl would back that up in 2005 winning the 2005 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Championship. Earl would be in elite company in 2006 winning his third National Championship in a row winning the 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championship.

Earls biggest win of his career came in 2006 when he won the prestigous "WORLD 100 at the famous Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio. Earl's World 100 win was one of the most exciting races in the history of the event. Earl was the first driver from the state of Florida to win the event.

In 2007 Earl teamed up with Bobby Labonte to drive for his new dirt late model team. Earl and Bobby Labonte Racing have now won back to back Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championships in 2007 and 2008. Earl now has won 5 consecutive Dirt Late Model National touring series championships, 04,05,06,07,and 2008.
